Every school in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District has at least one Site Representative. The responsibilities of a Site Rep are:

• Attend monthly SRVEA Representative Council meetings where they hear reports from SRVEA committees and officers, give input and vote on SRVEA policy
• Hold 10 minute meetings at your site each month after your staff meeting so they can tell you what happened at the Representative Council meeting
• Represent members at your site when the contract is violated
• Hold SRVEA/CTA/NEA elections
• Attend SRVEA Trainings
• Serve as the official channel through which written communications are transmitted to the members

Be sure to thank your SRVEA Representatives for all that they do.  SRVEA would not be the strong union that it is without their efforts!
